Thunderbird Announces Purchase of Shares in Private Transaction
(firmenpresse) - PANAMA, REPUBLIC OF PANAMA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/10/15 -- Thunderbird Resorts Inc. ("Thunderbird") (EURONEXT: TBIRD)(FRANKFURT: 4TR) announces that the Company and three of its directors and officers purchased 1.2 million of its issued and outstanding common shares from a current shareholder in a private transaction. Thunderbird purchased 550,000 of the 1.2 million shares and the directors/officers purchased 650,000 of the 1.2 million of shares at 50 cents per share through the facilities of the Euronext Amsterdam in accordance with the applicable rules of the exchange concerning private transactions.
The Company''s Board of Directors authorized the purchase of the shares and determined that the private transaction met the requirements of share repurchase pursuant to the Company''s Articles of Association. The Company will enter into discretionary agreements with one or more banks to facilitate the purchase of Thunderbird shares within the parameters of this private transaction.
