Princeton Power Systems Is Booth #2002 at the Solar Power International Show and Will Discuss Annobon Island Microgrid Technology -- the Largest Self-Sufficient Solar Power Microgrid in Africa

Annobon Island is one of Princeton Power Systems'' recent microgrid projects in Annobon Province, Equatorial Guinea. The island has a population of about 5,000 residents who are restricted to just 5 hours of electricity each day. The electricity that is provided to them is not only painstakingly minimal, but the residents spend 15-20% of their income on this supplemental power. Princeton Power Systems and partners are working together on a solar and battery microgrid that will significantly reduce costs and also provide reliable electricity for 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
Darren Hammell, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Princeton Power, will present "Alcatraz to Africa -- Operating a Solar Microgrid to Deliver 100% of the Islands Energy" on Wednesday, September 16th from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in HALL D. The presentation will detail the design and technology of the largest self-sufficient solar power microgrid in all of Africa.
