GM Canada August Sales Increase 12 Per Cent

(firmenpresse) - OSHAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/01/15 -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 24,653 vehicles in August 2015 versus 22,111 in August 2014, an increase of 12 per cent. Total GM Canada sales for the 2015 calendar year to date are up more than 6 per cent.
John Roth, vice president, sales, service and marketing for GM Canada said, "Customer demand for our Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac cars and trucks continues to grow in the Canadian marketplace with GMC and Cadillac experiencing the best August sales in their history."
August 2015 Brand Sales Highlights:
Across our brands, the integration of 4G LTE technology on more than 30 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles is driving customer interest in our products. With mobile data speeds of up to 10 times faster than 3G, customers are showing great interest in the ability of GM vehicles to act as Wi-Fi hot spots, allowing customers to connect up to seven different devices.
Data is not adjusted for the difference in selling days; August 2015 had 25 selling days and August 2014 had 26 selling days.
