SouthGobi Resources Announces Resignation of Andre Deepwell as Independent Non-Executive Director

(TSX: SGQ)(HKSE: 1878) ("SouthGobi" or the "Company") today announces that Mr. Andre Deepwell, to pursue other interests, resigned as an independent non-executive director, chairman of the Audit Committee, and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance committee and Compensation and Benefits committee of the Company effective August 31, 2015.
