New Phocuswright Research Finds U.S. Travel Market Hits Record Highs
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 08/27/15 -- Travelers from the U.S. are finally throwing off the shackles of recession and recovery to travel more, travel farther, and take longer trips, according to from travel industry research authority Phocuswright. While some are still choosing to cut travel out of their budgets, many younger travelers are spending their money on wanderlust.

Two-thirds of the U.S. adult population (18+) took a leisure trip in 2014: a new six-year, post-recession high.
Millennials (18-34) are typically the demographic most likely to travel -- and they had another exceptional year in 2014. Seven in 10 took at least one leisure trip in 2014.
