The First Cat Cafe in Arizona comes to Fountain Hills
Fearless Kitty Rescue's September fundraising event Cats & Coffee is coming to Fountain Hills. Coffee and Tea lovers can relax with their favorite felines, enjoy a great selection of pastries and beverages, while supporting homeless cats and kittens.
(firmenpresse) - FOUNTAIN HILLS, Arizona - Fearless Kitty Rescue (FKR) is bringing the first [Cat Cafe in Arizona](http://www.fearlesskittyrescue.org/catcafe) to Fountain Hills with their Cats & Coffee event. Cat Caf©''s, as they are commonly called, started popping up in large, metropolitan areas to give coffee lovers a chance to enjoy a relaxing beverage with felines in need. Most Cat Caf©s bring together adoptable pets with potential adopters. €œThere is the idea that rescue animals are damaged in some way," said Fearless Kitty Rescue''s Paula Hatch. €œThis is so far from the truth. We hope seeing and interacting with adoptable cats in a friendly environment changes peoples'' minds." At the Cats & Coffee fundraiser, anyone can bring a book, read, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while interacting with some of FKR''s adoptable cats. €œThis is great for our cats but also for our people," said Hatch, €œResearch continues to show that pet ownership is good for health, stress relief, and even lowering blood pressure. At the same time, we''re helping socialize our cats. Maybe someone will find their perfect kitty match at one of these events." Infusion Coffee and Tea of Tempe, AZ is the coffee sponsor. Infusion Coffee and Tea is an independently owned and operated caf© and roastery. Additionally, there will be a selection of tea, iced coffee, and select pastries, all of which are included in the ticket price.

When: Sundays in September, 12:30pm to 1:30pm and 2pm to 3pm.

Fearless Kitty Rescue is an IRS recognized non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens of any age. Founded in 2012, FKR is funded solely on donations, grants, and the help of caring volunteers. Fearless Kitty rescues cats and kittens from high-kill, often forgotten animal shelters, and the surrounding communities. FKR believes all cats and kittens should have the chance at a happy, healthy, and fearless life.
