Robert W. Lamond and Humboldt Capital Corporation Increases Their Interest in Tuscany Energy Ltd.
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/24/15 -- Robert W. Lamond ("Lamond") advises that from December 11, 2014 to August 21, 2015, Lamond and Humboldt Capital Corporation ("Humboldt") (TSX VENTURE: HMB) and Lamond Investments Ltd. ("LI") purchased a total of 860,300 Common Shares of Tuscany Energy Ltd. ("Tuscany") (TSX VENTURE: TUS) by normal course purchases through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Common Shares acquired by Lamond, LI and Humboldt, together with Tuscany''s purchases and cancellation of 404,000 of its own Common Shares, has resulted in Humboldt''s ownership in Tuscany''s outstanding Common Shares increasing by 2% over the period.
Lamond owns 72% of the outstanding shares of Humboldt and 100% of LI. After the acquisitions, Lamond, LI and Humboldt together own 17,997,518 Common Shares, or approximately 35.5% of the outstanding Common Shares of Tuscany.
The acquisitions were for investment purposes and each of Lamond, LI and Humboldt may, from time to time, as market opportunities exist or develop, increase or decrease their beneficial ownership, or control and direction over, Tuscany''s Common Shares as permitted by securities law.
