(firmenpresse) - According to PlayStation Lifestyle, developer Zenimax recently released the latest patch for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The latest 250MB update, which is for PS4 players, fixes “The Elder Scrolls Online” patch “Tamriel Unlimited” problems especially those regarding the frequent crash.
“The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’ v01.06 is an incremental patch for the PlayStation 4,” revealed ZeniMax on their official site. “[It is] approximately 250MB in size. In this patch, we have made some improvements to reduce the frequency of a commonly-occurring crash.”
Upon downloading, PS4 players may notice that the size of the patch is 16GB or possibly higher. This is due to the fact that if “The Elder Scrolls Online” patch “Tamriel Unlimited” players weren’t able to download the preceding patches, the console will download the missing data.
“When downloading a PlayStation 4 patch, the console may initially indicate that the patch is very large (16GBs or more),” the developer of the game explained. “However, because the console makes a comparison between the installed client and any available patches, it will only need to download the data that is missing. In most cases, this will only need to be the new patch.”
“The Elder Scrolls Online” patch “Tamriel Unlimited” added that “[PS4] players who have not downloaded any of the previous patches or who have a fresh installation of the game will need to download all previous game updates.”
On the other hand, VC Post mentioned that the upcoming DLC will contain new districts, dungeons, sewers and many other places for players to enjoy. The release date for the DLC of the game is just right around the corner; for PC and Mac users the game is set to be out on August 31, while for Xbox One and PS4 players, it will be out on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16, respectively.
