You do not usually get a logo-stamped, heavy-set crown at this range and the pushers, though basic, are clean and highly polished, as much as the case, bringing parity all over. This is one of the areas where the watch really shines!
The dial and the bezel complement each other; the thinness of the bezel actually making the watch face appear bigger and brighter than it really is. It also increases the depth of the watch face and enhance the layout of the dial.
The date window comes at the 4’o clock position and is not overly large or small. Unlike quite a few other watches, it doesn’t conflict with the viewing of the sub-dials. Though set close, they are pretty wide apart – an example of thoughtful designing. Even the bracelet; it’s surprising how Casio manages to keep things this lightweight without compromising on the quality. The lightness definitely opens it up for the crowd who are averse to weighty Casio Edifice Atomic and have shunned many a good ones just for their fear of their wrists being pinned with the heft.
But one thing that might disappoint you is the lume; do not expect a diver quality lume that suffice for night lamps or reading lights. The Casio Edifice Tachymeter Chronograph EF-500D-7AV Mens Watch is meant for the bright places and to be used chiefly under broad daylight!
