Ellsworth Growth and Income Fund Ltd. Announces Change to Special Meeting Record Date
(firmenpresse) - MORRISTOWN, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 08/17/15 -- Ellsworth Fund Ltd. (NYSE MKT: ECF) today announced a change to the record date for the October 19, 2015 special shareholders'' meeting.
The record date of August 24, 2015 previously announced has been changed to September 4, 2015.
As previously announced, at the special shareholders meeting to be held on October 19, 2015, shareholders will be asked to approve a new management agreement. The date of the meeting has not changed.
Ellsworth Growth and Income Fund Ltd. operates as a closed-end, diversified management investment company and invests primarily in convertible securities and common stock, with the objectives of providing income and the potential for capital appreciation; which objectives the Fund considers to be relatively equal, over the long-term, due to the nature of the securities in which it invests. Its shares are traded on the NYSE MKT Exchange under the ticker symbol ECF.
