Global Blood Therapeutics Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
(firmenpresse) - SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/11/15 -- Global Blood Therapeutics, Inc. (GBT), a biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics for the treatment of grievous blood-based disorders with significant unmet needs, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,000,000 shares of common stock at an initial public offering price of $20.00 per share. All shares of common stock are being offered by GBT. In addition, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 900,000 shares of common stock from GBT. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on August 12, 2015 under the ticker symbol "GBT."
Morgan Stanley and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Company and Wedbush PacGrow are acting as co-managers. The offering is expected to close on August 17, 2015, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
