Leading Military Fabric Supplier Schedules Scale-Up Trial of Alexiflam(TM) Technology
(firmenpresse) - PERTH, AUSTRALIA and GREER, SC -- (Marketwired) -- 08/04/15 -- (ASX: AJX) (OTCQX: AXXIY) is pleased to announce another leading supplier to the US Defense Sector has provided an initial purchase order for the shipment of Alexiflam™ Fire Retardant (FR) technology for a scale-up trial for Nylon/Cotton military uniforms.
Pending the successful trial, initial revenue of circa US$1MM could be received by Alexium to fulfill next stage testing for this Customer''s products by early 2016. Shortly thereafter, a comprehensive agreement with this Customer could address 5% per annum of the global military market, currently valued at US$240MM per annum.
This Customer scale-up trial builds off our efforts with the US Army Natick Soldier Systems Centre (Natick) to be a key supplier of Eco-Friendly FR solutions in US Department of Defense military uniform programs. "Having yet another important supplier to the military market moving to a scale-up trial shows that our Environmentally Friendly Nylon/Cotton FR Alexiflam™ technology meets the rigorous requirements of flame retardancy for military uniforms," said Steve Gravlee, VP of Sales.
