Support for Official Languages in New Brunswick
Government of Canada provides funding to three organizations in the Moncton region
(firmenpresse) - MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK -- (Marketwired) -- 07/30/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
Robert Goguen, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament (Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe), today announced a total of $120,500 in funding for three organizations in New Brunswick. He made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The Government of Canada is providing support through the Development of Official-Language Communities Program to the following organizations: the Conseil provincial des societes culturelles ($30,000 in 2015-16), the Societe Nationale de l''Acadie ($40,500 in 2015-16) and the Federation des jeunes francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick ($38,000 in 2015-16 and $12,000 in 2016-17).
