Government of Canada provides support for commemorative monument

(firmenpresse) - CHURCH POINT, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $31,500 to the Societe Acadienne de Clare for a monument called Odyssee acadienne de la baie Sainte-Marie and six interpretive plaques to mark the 125th anniversary of Universite Sainte-Anne. This funding is being provided under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program.

Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), announced the funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
