Trxade Group, Inc. Appoints Leading Pharmaceutical Industry Expert Mr. Donald Anderson to Its Advisory Board

(OTCQB: TRXD), a web-based pharmaceutical marketplace engaged in promoting and enabling trade among independent pharmacies and large pharmaceutical suppliers nationally, announced today the appointment of Donald W. Anderson to the Company''s advisory board. The newly appointed member would serve as a strategic resource to Trxade Group as it continues to develop its trade relationships in the industry.

Mr. Anderson has over forty years of experience in the healthcare industry. In January, 2009 he began his role as President & CEO of Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, the nation''s largest group purchasing organization representing more than 5000 independent pharmacies. Prior to joining IPC, Mr. Anderson served as Vice President of Business Development for Long''s Drug Stores, a former 560-store chain based in northern California where he was responsible for two mail order facilities, three central-fill pharmacies, pharmacy call-center operations, and non-store pharmacy systems. Mr. Anderson has held various executive level positions including President & CEO for Professional Homecare Services, and Regional Vice President, Managed Care & Payor Relations with Catholic Healthcare West, a hospital chain based in San Francisco, CA. As part of his long career in healthcare and pharmacy, Mr. Anderson was National Vice President, Sales and Pharmacy Operations for a national third party administrator and pharmacy benefits management company.
Mr. Anderson is the current Board President of the Federation of Pharmacy Networks, Board President of ChoiceRx Solutions, a member of the NCPA Foundation Advisory Board, and has previously served as a board director of Arizona Medical Network (PPO), RxAmerica Part D Plan, RxAlly, and Smart D Insurance. He has also served as an Advisory Board member with McKesson''s National Independent Advisory Board, and Surescripts Chain Pharmacy Advisory Board. Don is married with four children, all in the pharmacy and healthcare industry, and five grandchildren.
