WPFH Announces Chief Advisor of Online and Interactive Gaming

Owens Jr, Esq., a recognized expert on gambling law, has joined the WPF Online and Interactive Gaming Committee as its Chief Advisor. Owens has been specializing in online and interactive gaming law since 1998 and is the co-author of Internet Gaming Law, an associate editor of Gaming Law Review and Economics, and also the contributing editor of The Sports Network.com. "This is a very exciting project. The players, the technology, the platforms are all coming together right here in California. It''s time to bring online poker up to its full potential, in the USA and all over the world," says Owens.
At the present time, only Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey have web gambling industries. WPFH is establishing relationships with Native American Indian Tribes throughout the country to assist in the development of internet poker and interactive gaming platforms within sovereign rights under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA).
