Nine automated SwapBox™ kiosks are now located throughout Terminal 1-Lindbergh and provide travelers with ready-to-use, portable mobile chargers that eliminate the need for electrical outlets.
Priced at just $20 each, one FuelRod charger can deliver up to eight hours of additional talk time on an average smartphone, or nearly four additional hours of usage on the most demanding of tablets. Every FuelRod Kit includes connectors for both Android- and Apple-based devices. Once depleted, users can either recharge the FuelRod with a standard USB connection or quickly exchange it -- at no additional cost -- at any SwapBox kiosk for a fresh, fully fueled, ready-to-use charger.
