Member of Parliament David Wilks announces support for the Revelstoke Arts Council

Performing arts and culture received a boost today with the announcement of $7,500 of funding, provided through the , to the Revelstoke Arts Council for its 2015/16 Performance Series.
This investment will enable the Council to continue providing Revelstoke''s residents and visitors with diverse cultural entertainment. This year''s performance series will feature jazz, classical music, ballet, contemporary dance, children''s theatre and spoken word performances. The Council will also offer outreach activities, including public talk-backs and workshops.
David Wilks, Member of Parliament (Kootenay-Columbia), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
