Celebrating Local Arts and Heritage in Bridgewater
Government of Canada supports the Afterglow Art Festival
(firmenpresse) - BRIDGEWATER, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/16/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing funding of $11,500 to the Bridgewater Development Association to present the fourth edition of the Afterglow Art Festival on September 25 and 26, 2015. This support is being provided under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program.
Gerald Keddy, Member of Parliament (South Shore-St. Margaret''s), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
The Afterglow Art Festival will feature performances and art by local musicians and artists, demonstrations by local artisans, and other activities such as storytelling and poetry.
