In partnership with multiple chipset providers, Pericom is currently supporting a number of significant engagements with key OEMs for notebook, smart phone, tablet, docking station, and monitor applications.
Pericom''s new solution offers a 6x4 differential crossbar signal switch with minimal insertion loss and crosstalk supporting alternate mode switching that allows 5 Gbps USB3.1 Gen 1 and 5.4 Gbps DisplayPort DP1.2a signals through a Type-C connector.
6 x 4 differential channel crossbar signal switch: Higher level of integration including both high speed and low speed crossbar switch
Supports data rates of up to (at) 5.4 Gbps: Enables switching of USB3.1 Gen 1 signals as well as DisplayPort DP1.2a signals through the same switch
