Fancamp Announces Receiving Samples of TiO2-Concentrates and BF-Slags From Pangang
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/13/15 -- Fancamp Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: FNC) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that its 96.6% owned Magpie Mines Inc., has received the shipment from the Pangang Group, China, containing samples of TiO2-concentrates and BF-slags. The objective is to carry out metallurgical tests on these samples using Magpie''s proprietary hydrometallurgical technology for the recovery of premium TiO2 product (refer to the company news release dated March 03rd, 2015).
Metallurgical tests will be carried out at SGS Lakefield. Preparatory work had already started, and final results are expected in 3-4 months.
Other parties have contacted the Company regarding the suitability of the Magpie Process for their ores and concentrates, showing that there is potential for collaboration in business with many Ti02 producers.
