D-BOX Technologies Hires a New Senior VP to Focus on Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development
(firmenpresse) - LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 07/13/15 -- D-BOX Technologies inc. (TSX: DBO), a leader in innovative motion technology, announces today the hiring of Mr. Sebastien Mailhot as Senior Vice-President Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development.
Most recently, Mr. Mailhot served as Chief Executive Officer of Carreaux Ceragres, a privately-held manufacturer and distributor of floor-covering and other architectural products. Amongst his realisations at Ceragres, Mr. Mailhot was instrumental driving the company''s strategic plan which allowed the company evolving from a regional to a national player. In addition, Mr. Mailhot realised two acquisitions and one joint-venture while putting in place the necessary administrative capital structures.
From February 2004 to January 2009, Mr. Mailhot was partner and Vice-President of Capimont Technologies, a venture capital fund dedicated to the evaluation and financing of upcoming industrial technologies. During his tenure at Capimont, Mr. Mailhot completed many financing / investment mandates, continuously evaluated various industrial technologies and represented the fund on the Board of many companies.
Prior to that, Mr. Mailhot was Vice-President Finance and Administration of Touchlink Inc. where he was instrumental in selling and integrating the company with a publicly-traded corporation. In addition to other senior financial roles, positions held by Mr. Mailhot over his career include acting as Corporate Finance Director and Auditor for Arthur Andersen. Mr. Mailhot is a holder of both the Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations.
