The ultimate gold sink to solve all problems
Recently, people are appealing for a % Grand Exchange tax, maybe more or less 5%. Actually, many games seem to have 5% cuts already, so it’s not a big deal for Old School Runescape. Of course, the GE cuts would make merchants get s little less profit, but still enough. Besides, merchants will never lose money even if all items have a cut. They would simply increase the margins proportionately, similar to every business when minimum wage goes up.
It is said that the tax poll failed miserably at around 40% support several days ago. Only 1% tax would make skills that require a lot of capital considerably more expensive, including herblore, crafting, and smithing, never mind 5%.
