(PresseBox) - The development of the verification and research site for Remote Sensing Technology on the premises of São Paulo University is progressing: the stationary LiDAR measurement system is installed, BBB employees are holding seminars at the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE) and soon a met mast will be installed on the site. Those developments, more details on the project and the services offered by the BBB branch office in Brazil are now available on the internet at www.bbb-do-brazil.com.
Last year BBB qualified itself with the concept for a verification site in Brazil for the dena Renewable Energy Solutions Programme, which is coordinated by Deutsche Energie-Agentur (dena) - the German Energy Agency. It aims at promoting knowledge and technology transfer projects within the initiative ?renewables ? Made in Germany? and equipping them with financial support granted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The opening of the BBB branch office in São José dos Campos in 2014 was planned long beforehand and irrespectively of the project. However, for its realisation the continuous presence of the BBB staff is highly beneficial.
Next to the project and the partners who support its implementation the new microsite also presents project-related services offered by BBB?s Brazilian affiliate. It mainly concerns the wind resource evaluation business area ? information on the other services in the fields of planning, engineering and technical due diligence is still available on BBB?s general website at www.bbb-umwelt.com.

BBB''s engineers offer planning and engineering services all along the wind energy process-chain: from wind measurements and feasibility studies to construction supervision and the commissioning of the wind farm. Furthermore BBB has a considerable track record of technical due diligence provided on onshore as well as offshore projects.
BBB Umwelttechnik is accredited for the elaboration of bankable wind and yield assessment reports and the execution of high-quality wind measurements (ISO/IEC17025:2005).
