The food recall warning issued on June 19, 2015 has been updated to include additional product information. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency''s (CFIA) food safety investigation.
Mixtura Latina Co. is recalling Mixtura Latina Co. brand Mote Blanco Pelado / Peeled White Hominy from the marketplace because it may contain sulphites which are not declared on the label. People with a sensitivity to sulphites should not consume the recalled product described below.
The following product has been sold from Mixtura Latina Co. located at 1104 Wilson Avenue in Toronto, Ontario.

Check to see if you have recalled product in your home. Recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
If you have a sensitivity to sulphites, do not consume the recalled product as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
