(NYSE MKT: UUUU)(TSX: EFR) ("Energy Fuels" or the "Company") announces the results of the election of directors at its annual and special meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held on June 18, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario.
The eight nominees proposed by management for election as directors were elected by a show of hands. Proxies were received as follows:
At the Meeting, shareholders also voted to approve (i) the appointment of KPMG LLP as the auditors of the Company; (ii) the extension of the Company''s existing Shareholder Rights Plan; (iii) the Company''s Omnibus Equity Incentive Compensation Plan and the grant of unallocated restricted share units thereunder; and (iv) the issuance of common shares of the Company pursuant to an acquisition by the Company of Uranerz Energy Corporation ("Uranerz") by way of merger of the Company''s wholly owned subsidiary EFR Nevada Corp. with and into Uranerz. Details of each of these matters are set out in the Amended Management Information Circular of the Company dated May 21, 2015.
