Enter the realm of Ramadan as you step into a maze of lights, scents and colors inside Al Khayma. The most renowned Ramadan tent will surprise guests with its décor inspired by the oriental souk of Fez. An alley of hanging lanterns guides guests into the warm interiors of Al Khayma. Inside, long turquoise and gold drapes, crystal chandeliers and hanging light spheres, an imaginative fanoosh wooden cage, and a soothing tree of lights adorn the tent and set the stage onto an alluring culinary line up. Large buffet spreads of tajines, masbooj, saffron rice, falafel rolls, and five varieties of dates (amongst which khedri, khloas, segai, sokari and bahri), are complimented by live cooking stations of saj bread, shanaad or sheeri Bahraini grills, fresh pasta, pad thai noodles, tandoori meats, or fresh fruit carving -- amongst the many more delicacies.
