Imperial Capital Announces the Expansion of Its Emerging Markets Sales & Trading Group With the Hiring of Andrew Gold to Head the Group
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/17/15 -- ("Imperial Capital") today announced a new leadership appointment along with the creation of a dedicated Emerging Markets Group to add to the franchise''s ambitious growth initiatives. Andrew Gold has joined Imperial Capital as a Managing Director & Head of Emerging Markets Sales & Trading in its New York Office, where he will oversee a group that will concentrate on the trading and distribution of emerging markets credit globally. Mr. Gold will also serve as a Senior Relationship Manager across Imperial Capital''s capital structure sales & trading platform, leveraging his 20-year institutional client focus. Mr. Gold will report to Tom Corcoran, President of Imperial Capital, LLC. His main responsibilities will focus on growing Imperial Capital''s existing business as well as trading, and providing insight on, emerging markets credit securities for institutional fixed income clients of both Imperial Capital, LLC, its US-based broker-dealer, and Imperial Capital (International) LLP, its UK affiliate.

Mr. Gold joins Imperial Capital with extensive industry leadership in relationship management, securities trading, and sales and origination in the Emerging Markets. He spent the majority of his career with Barclays Capital Inc. where he ran Emerging Markets distribution globally. Prior to this, he was a Director in the Emerging Markets Group at Credit Suisse in New York. Mr. Gold earned an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
