The Orlando plastic surgeon says he is eager to share his experience and skill set with the university''s future physicians. In his new role, Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani will be working with third and fourth year UCF medical students, acting as an educational resource and clinical role model. The students he mentors have selected to incorporate a surgical rotation as an elective in their overall curriculum. shares his skills and experience with these students, allowing them to expand their surgical knowledge.
To be considered as an appointed faculty member, Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani''s credentials and experience were carefully reviewed, and final approval from the Provost of the University was required. Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani says he is grateful and excited for the opportunity to give back to the community through this new position. The appointment is considered a volunteer role, so he does not receive financial compensation from UCF.
Outside of the university, Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani is the Medical Director at the Aesthetic Surgery Centre, his practice. He performs a variety of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including , tummy tuck, and ® Cosmetic. However, Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani explains that breast procedures such as , , and breast reduction are his surgical specialty.
Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani says it brings him great joy to be able to contribute to his students'' medical education through his role as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. Board-certified plastic surgeon has been recognized by the Mentor Corporation''s LEAD (Leadership, Experience in Augmentation and Development) program as one of the top 25 breast augmentation plastic surgeons in the United States through his appointment to the program''s Physician Advisory Board. He is also a member of several esteemed medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Jon Paul Trevisani is the Medical Director and founder of his private plastic surgery practice, which includes its own fully-accredited surgical suite. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando.
