ACM looks at a continuously growing demand for the belt and restraint systems overhaul services and receives new orders from clients from general and commercial aviation.
With the entry into force of the EASA AD that now stricktly regulates the overhaul of safety belts and restraint systems, ACM became the only non-OEM in Europe that can be assigned with the rewebbing. This fact can also be seen in the according AD that names the ACM as the only design organisation in Europe that is officially permitted to overhaul belts of any orginal manufacturer.
In the scope of this approval are small and large aircraft and rotorcraft types and the capabilities include safety belts for 9g and 16g seats.
As an independant provider of the rewebbing of belts from any manufacturer ACM offers significant time and costs advantages compared to the services that are being offered by the OEM''S.
Meanwhile, many clients had the chance to benefit from these advantages and the customer base is highly diversified, as it includes small and large MRO companies, airlines and private aircraft owners.
With the growing customer base and incoming orders, the portfolio of already overhauled belts also grows bigger, so more and more belts can be ouverhauled immediately resulting in even shorter lead times.
For this reason, the number of airlines and MRO''s that approach ACM''s internal design organisation increases and their quotes include any order volume from few number of parts for private aircrafts to the rewebbing of PAX, flight attendats and pilots'' belts of whole fleets.
Most of the overhauled belts are Am-Safe, Pacific Scientific, Schroth, Davis and Autoflug models and the catalogue includes several hundred different part numbers.
