Pure Energy Minerals Ltd. Announces NSERC Grant to The University of British Columbia in Support of Collaborative R&D Work With Pure Energy
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/11/15 -- Pure Energy Minerals Limited (TSX VENTURE: PE) (FRANKFURT: A111EG) (OTC PINK: HMGLF) (the "Company" or "Pure Energy") is pleased to announce that Professor Pierre Kennepohl of the University of British Columbia ("UBC") and Pure Energy have received a $25,000 Engage Grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada ("NSERC") to collaboratively study aspects of selective lithium removal from brines, and also how lithium is exchanged between brines and lithium-containing solids in samples from Pure Energy''s Clayton Valley Property.

The work will be performed on samples of soil and brine from Pure Energy''s Clayton Valley Lithium project, and will add to the Company''s ongoing technology evaluation program and the characterization of the lithium resource present within the Clayton Valley Basin. Of special interest to the Company is the study of the regenerative potential of the resource and how lithium can potentially be transferred into brine from the lithium-enriched rocks and sediments that are present within the Clayton Valley basin.
