Angela Combs Joins Lutheran Services Florida as VP of Educational Services
(firmenpresse) - TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 06/08/15 -- Lutheran Services Florida (LSF), a non-profit human services organization based in Tampa, announces today the addition of Angela W. Combs as Vice President of Educational Services.
Combs will also continue her work with the Pivot Charter School Florida program, where she currently serves as the interim executive director of schools. Prior to her current position, Angela held many roles with Pivot including principal and later deputy director of schools. In her current role with Pivot, Combs has gained in-depth knowledge of laws and bylaws of charter schools. Her responsibilities include budgeting plans for three charter schools, statewide marketing of the program, building relationships with stakeholders and developing the charter office staff.

"Combs'' years of experience in educational services will be a great addition to our team, and she will help us continue growing our educational programs to better serve our community."
Combs has worked in several positions in the education field, including taking on the role of a foster parent for emotionally, physically, and socially disabled children. As a foster parent she worked with state employees and parents to successfully transition children back into the home.
Combs graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a doctorate in education, education leadership and professional practice, where she also received a Master''s in education, administration and supervision. Combs graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Austin Peay State University. She is also actively involved in several career development organizations relating to educational services.
