Medicial Marijuana Project in California
The Company announces that a drilling crew will be mobilized to drill a water well in the middle of June on the Company''s recently purchased property in California. The drilling of the Company''s well was delayed because it is the peak season for the drilling of water wells in the area. As the lands surrounding the Company''s property all have water wells, the Company does not expect any difficulty in finding underground water.
As well, the Maple Leaf has been advised that the California Collective with which it has a joint venture agreement will start cloning the marijuana this month from their own source to produce seedlings for the Company''s previously announced California Project in a temporary, rental facility. The cloning process takes approximately a month and starting this process now will allow the Company to begin growing medical marijuana as soon as its cold frames are constructed.
