Simon Says Give Partners With Free The Children & YMCA-Twin Cities to Raise Money for Children

(firmenpresse) - WOODBURY, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/15 -- Simon Says Give®, a Minnesota-based, youth-led nonprofit, in partnership with international charity Free the Children and the YMCA Twin Cities, is hosting a "Hollywood Meets Bollywood" themed dance June 13 from 5:30-11pm at East Ridge High School in Woodbury. Monies raised will support initiatives for children in the Twin Cities and India. The evening features headline performer and Minnesotan, Kat Perkins, a semifinalist from The Voice.

The event is open to children and adults of all ages and features Hollywood and Bollywood style dance groups, Indian cuisine and Kat Perkins rounding out the celebration. Organizers anticipate around 500 guests and over $40,000 raised. Tickets are $20-$70 with family rates available, and may be purchased on or through

Simon Says Give engages kids who want to be involved in helping others. The organization''s volunteer kids have the opportunity to provide celebrations and gifts -- some necessity, and some fun -- to children that would otherwise not receive them.
