Registration Opens June 2nd for the 3-Day Grace Hopper Celebration of Women and Computing
(firmenpresse) - PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/15 -- The Anita Borg Institute (ABI), a non-profit organization focused on advancing women in computing, today announced that Hilary Mason, renowned data scientist, and serial entrepreneur will open as the keynote speaker at the 2015 Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) in Houston, TX. Mason spent four years as the Chief Scientist at bitly, the provider of link-shortening services for sharing on social media platforms. She then went on to work with the venture capital firm, Accel Partners as their Data Scientist in Residence, before founding Fast Forward Labs.
GHC is the largest gathering of women in computing in the world. The 2015 Conference will be held October 14-16 in Houston, TX. This year''s conference is expected to attract over 10,000 attendees from academia, industry, and government, including top technology executives, university faculty, students, and young professionals.

The 2015 Grace Hopper Celebration features leading technical speakers, career development sessions, awards, a poster session, a hackathon, and the industry''s largest job fair for women in computing.
