Enghouse Jinny Software Unit Enables Telenor to Deploy Private Cloud Messaging for Serbia and Hungary

Telenor is a tier one mobile operator with a global presence in 13 countries across Europe and Asia.
Jinny Software''s future-proof, extensible messaging platform was selected to replace a legacy short message service centre (SMSC) system in Serbia and Hungary. Jinny''s geo-redundant deployment uses virtualization to serve multiple markets from a single private messaging cloud. This meets key Telenor requirements for a value-added platform that is ready for new technologies such as LTE roll-out. Jinny''s SMSC system provides secure messaging, protecting the networks and subscribers from spam, fraud and potential revenue leakage.
