Member of Parliament Dick Harris announces funding for Le Cercle des Canadiens Français de Prince George

Le Cercle des Canadiens Francais de Prince George will receive funding of $65,000 through the in support of its 2015-16 programming.

Dick Harris, Member of Parliament (Cariboo-Prince George), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

This investment will enable Le Cercle to deliver its programming across various sectors, including education, arts and culture. Planned activities include managing a community centre, French-language courses and translation services. The organization will also plan a series of performances, a festival and workshops to promote and strengthen the vitality of the French language in Prince George and its surrounding communities.
