Lutheran Services Florida Names Stacy L. Martin New Chief Philanthropy Officer

(firmenpresse) - TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/27/15 -- Lutheran Services Florida (LSF), a non-profit human services organization based in Tampa, announces today the addition of Stacy L. Martin as Chief Philanthropy Officer of LSF.

Martin comes to LSF from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), in Washington, D.C., where she served as the director of policy and advocacy. In this position, Martin led state and federal domestic, international and environmental policy and advocacy for the more than four million members of the denomination.

"We are excited to have Martin join our team," said Sam Sipes, President and CEO of LSF. "She brings with her more than 15 years of experience, and we cannot wait to see how her expertise will help shape the lives of the many people LSF helps."

Prior to joining ELCA, Martin spent time working in immigration and refugee services, first as director and then as vice president of external relations and development. Additionally, she has spent some time traveling to several developing nations to work as a volunteer, intern and teacher. She has an MBA from Eastern University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton and she received her B.A. in English and secondary education from Sterling College.
