(firmenpresse) - EMSDETTEN, GERMANY -- (Marketwired) -- 05/27/15 -- Dometic has launched the new FreshJet 2600 and 3200 models to complement its range of RV roof air conditioners. As a result, the added comfort of having a pleasant climate on board is also available to the owners of larger vehicles. The two latest offsprings of the successful FreshJet series have sufficient power to provide perfect air conditioning for motorhomes and caravans up to eight metres long. They effectively cool down and dehumidify the air inside the vehicle, and they can even heat the interior to provide cosy warmth on cool days or nights. Sophisticated heat pump technology makes it possible.
Design-minded buyers will appreciate the choice of two attractive air diffuser boxes to create the desired climate inside the vehicle. The "Chillout" model features four individually adjustable air vents and a dimmable LED strip all around the unit. The "Design" model, based on the same design language as the popular Dometic Midi Heki Style rooflight, blends in harmoniously with the vehicle''s roof lining. Both model versions are easy to use by remote control and satisfy all demands.
Dometic FreshJet 2600 is ideal for vehicles up to eight metres long. It provides a cooling capacity of 2500 watts (8500 Btu/h) and a comfortable heating capacity of 3300 watts. The more powerful FreshJet 3200 achieves an ample 2800 watts (9560 Btu/h) in the cooling mode as well as in the heating mode. Using a special accessory kit the two air conditioners can even be run while driving. The DC-Kit-4 makes the FreshJet systems fit for operation on the vehicle''s 12-volt system, which guarantees a relaxed journey to the holiday destination.
The Dometic FreshJet series offers easy ways to create separate air conditioning systems for the sleeping and living areas of larger vehicles. Customers can have two smaller units fitted on the vehicle roof, or a larger one for the living area plus a smaller one for the sleeping area.
