A Year of Social, Cultural and Educational Activities in French in the Annapolis Valley
Government of Canada supports the Association francophone de la Vallee
(firmenpresse) - GREENWOOD, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/25/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage
Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), today announced funding of $52,000 for the Association francophone de la Vallee (AFV) for its 2015-16 programming. He made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This financial support will allow the AFV to organize a wide variety of social, cultural and educational activities and to work with partners to broaden the range of French services, particularly in relation to early childhood and health. The organization will continue to strengthen its social media presence in order to reach all Francophones in the area.
