Matt Argall Makes Generous Contribution to Pascale''s Pals'' Annual Fundraiser
(firmenpresse) - MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/25/15 -- Pascale''s Pals held its 17th annual benefit auction at the Columbia, MO Holiday Inn Executive Center, a huge success attended by more than 400 guests who enjoyed the night''s proceedings. The event''s highlight was the silent auction in which attendees bid on enviable prizes, some of which were sponsored by , an internationally acclaimed entrepreneur. Prizes included tropical getaways, VIP pro sport experiences, U2 concert tickets along with a signed guitar, and signed memorabilia by the likes of Peyton Manning or Yadier Molina.
Pascale''s Pals was established in 2006 in order to provide emotional and financial support to children and their families staying at the Women and Children''s Hospital in Columbia, MO. The organization''s namesake and inspiration, Pascale, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was about two years old. Initial chemotherapy was successful, and though she suffered a relapse when she was six, she is now again cancer-free. During this time, Pascale''s family received an outpouring of support, but also came to notice that many families did not have this support and were struggling, which inspired them to create Pascale''s Pals Inc. Pascale''s cousin and internationally acclaimed entrepreneur, , has been a longtime supporter of Pascale''s Pals. The generous businessman and philanthropist is involved in supporting many worthy causes, but due to his personal relationship and his soft spot for children, the Columbia-based foundation holds a special place in his heart.
"The strength Pascale showed at such a young age facing this huge challenge is truly inspiring," Argall revealed. "Knowing that there are countless other kids going through the same thing makes it a necessity for me to provide as much support as I can for this amazing cause." He also realizes that the worth of the organization goes far beyond the financial support provided. "A large part of Pascale''s recovery can be attributed to the outpouring of emotional support that she and her family received," he said earnestly. "I firmly believe that lifting the spirits of those with life-threatening and chronic illnesses is just as important as medical care, and Pascale''s Pals does this better than any organization I''ve ever seen." For his sixth year as a donor, Argall provided some of this year''s most sought-after auction items, turning a good cause into a fun event for guests who could not wait to participate in the silent auction.
