The FTA is the world''s leading professional society dedicated to the advancement of the flexographic printing industry. The Excellence in Flexography Awards is highly esteemed as the industry''s most prestigious and coveted, recognizing the best and most innovative companies, products, and techniques in the flexographic industry.
cei received a gold medal for its Boise Aspen 30 Copy Paper ream wrap in the wide web/screen/uncoated category. It was also awarded a gold medal for its Apex Copy Paper ream wrap in the mid web/process/uncoated category.
The FTA stated that the competition for this year''s awards was fierce and saw some of the best print jobs in the competition''s 55 year history. More than 450 print samples were submitted and 106 received awards in 10 different categories.
One of the FTA judges noted that, "the quality of the print entries this year has pushed the execution and difficulty to a new level. From older machines to newer more complex units, the competition has driven innovation to preprint and combined packaging."
