Ellen Beats Barack in College Students'' Top-Ten List of Most Desired Commencement Speakers
(firmenpresse) - BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/20/15 -- In these last few weeks of May, Millennials are graduating from colleges and universities across the country in record numbers. What if they could choose their own commencement speaker?
According to a survey of 1,200+ college students from across the country, Ellen DeGeneres was chosen as the #1 most desired commencement speaker for 2015. She tops Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Elon Musk and a host of others. The survey was issued online to more than 60,000 enrolled undergraduate students by college marketing agency from April 23 - May 4, 2015.
Students were also asked to choose which fictional characters they would want most for their commencement speaker. Iron Man''s "Tony Stark" rocketed to the top of that list with a seven point lead over the second ranked character, Harry Potter. What if Ellen had to go head-to-head with "Tony Stark?" Ellen comes away the victor in that battle.
