Summer Festival to Be Celebrated in Saint John

Government of Canada provides funding in support of Fundy Fringe Festival

(firmenpresse) - SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage

Rodney Weston, Member of Parliament (Saint John), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced that the Saint John Theatre Company is getting a financial boost of $6,400.

The funding, provided under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program, will help support the Fundy Fringe Festival. The Festival will present activities including several theatrical performances and music shows in different genres. These will take place at multiple venues throughout Saint John from August 18 to 23, 2015. More than 30 local artists will perform during the six days of festivities.
