Uproar PR Teams Up With Toronto-Based Tech Meetup and 1871 to Present the Latest Trends in Wearable Tech, AR and VR
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/11/15 -- , along with We Are Wearables and 1871, announces the third edition of Chicago: Immersive Experiences with AR & VR featuring Lyteshot. The evening will focus on how wearable technology enables immersive experiences using augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR), highlighting the biggest trends in VR and gaming and ways to create real world virtual experiences.
The event will feature Chicago-based Lyteshot, the first AR-based mobile gaming platform. Mark Ladd, CEO and founder of LyteShot, will start the evening with a presentation about the future of interactive mobile gaming. Brendan Karp of Technexus will then share thoughts on wearable technology and the impact it has on the role of the first responder. Following the presentations, We Are Wearables founder Tom Emrich will moderate a panel discussion on "Immersive experiences in VR," with Bobby Boyd, founder of Anarchist, and Josh Farkas, CEO of Cubile Ninjas.
Attendees will then get the chance to head to the demo area for a firsthand look at the technology highlighted during the presentation and panel, as well as a chance to chat live with the creators of the Oculus Rift.
