Taber Cornfest Celebrates 40 Years of Fun in Southern Alberta
Member of Parliament LaVar Payne announces support for annual festival

The Taber and District Chamber of Commerce will receive $6,900 through the program to present the 40th edition of Taber Cornfest. LaVar Payne, Member of Parliament (Medicine Hat), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Taber Cornfest is one of Western Canada''s largest family festivals. This year''s festival activities include live musical performances, arts and craft displays, and artisan demonstrations. The activities will present the work of more than 80 local artists and artisans.
