Stella-Jones Reports Director Election Results
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/15 -- Stella-Jones Inc. (TSX: SJ) has announced its director election results following its annual meeting of shareholders, held today.
All of the nominees proposed as directors in the Company''s Management Information Circular, dated March 20, 2015, were elected on a vote by show of hands. In total 59,977,622 shares were represented in person or by proxy at the meeting, representing approximately 86.98% of the outstanding shares as of the record date of March 18, 2015.
The proxies received by management for the election of directors were as follows: 50,159,091 proxy votes were cast for the election of Tom A. Bruce Jones, representing 83.78% of the proxy votes cast; 50,017,381 proxy votes were cast for the election of Gianni Chiarva, representing 83.54% of the proxy votes cast; 58,892,993 proxy votes were cast for the election of George J. Bunze, representing 98.37% of the proxy votes cast; 51,773,785 proxy votes were cast for the election of Brian McManus, representing 86.48% of the proxy votes cast; 53,722,849 proxy votes were cast for the election of Nycol Pageau-Goyette, representing 89.73% of the proxy votes cast; 59,181,066 proxy votes were cast for the election of Simon Pelletier, representing 98.85% of the proxy votes cast; 45,439,653 proxy votes were cast for the election of Daniel Picotte, representing 75.90% of the proxy votes cast; 59,613,366 proxy votes were cast for the election of James A. Manzi, Jr. representing 99.57% of the proxy votes cast; and 59,323,852 proxy votes were cast for the election of Mary L. Webster, representing 99.09% of the proxy votes cast.
