ID: 1355161

Produced by BBI International, the FEW Will Bring Together the Largest Gathering of Ethanol Producers to Discuss the Industry's Renewed Certainty for Long-Term Growth Supported by the U.S. Government

(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/15 -- By June 1st, the EPA is expected to have made an announcement on Renewable Volume Obligations (RVOs) and the discussions at the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, taking place June 1-4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, are guaranteed to focus on the obligated volumes for cellulosic ethanol and advanced biofuels production, and how these requirements can create more certainty among companies focused on developing biofuels projects.

Based on the expected announcement, first-generation ethanol producers will better understand the amount of growth the biofuels market is going to undertake, ultimately increasing the use of corn ethanol. Second generation producers will get a better understanding of how much the Renewable Fuels Standard (RFS) will additionally support their markets and provide increased certainty for long-term growth to the entire biofuels industry. "The EPA has heard the responses from farmers, clean air advocates and American drivers looking for choices at the pump, and there are indications that the agency will uphold the original intent of the RFS," says Tom Bryan, editor-in-chief of Ethanol Producer Magazine. "We believe the EPA, in effect, is going to clear a path this spring for the ongoing implementation of the program."

In addition to ethanol producers, the conference is set to draw nearly 2,000 attendees, including industry suppliers, service providers and researchers from around the world. During the course of the event, attendees will learn about the latest industry innovations categorized into four tracks:
