Aggreko Lights Up Chicago''s Downtown Streets for Draft Town Experience
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/15 -- Aggreko (LSE: AGK), the world leading provider of temporary power, heating and cooling, and compressed air services, will light up the streets of downtown Chicago as some of the greatest college football players arrive in the Windy City on April 30, for the professional football draft that will determine their future from collegiate to professional players.
Aggreko''s major events division, Aggreko Event Services (AES), will provide power and temperature control for the 2015 draft ceremony that will take place from April 30 through Saturday, May 2, as well as providing services for the outdoor fan festival that spans 900,000 square feet across Grant Park and Congress Plaza.
AES is providing: 5MW of temporary power; 900KW of electric heat; 270 tons of air conditioning for the entire draft experience, the fan zone and the surrounding VIP and hospitality venues; a crew of Aggreko technicians are onsite to manage the installation and operations, including hundreds of accessories, panels, transformers and about 65,000 ft. of cable, equivalent to 8 miles.
