(OTCBB: VSYM), a Baltimore manufacturer and leading provider of integrated weapons detection systems, has filed for a new enhanced concealed weapons detection technology. The title of the application is "Electromagnetic field detection using anisotropic magnetoresistant gradiometers in both passive and active mode."
Specifically, the detection of potentially dangerous objects on the body of a person passing through a particular time space domain, such as an archway, corridor or portal is dramatically enhanced. The gradiometers can be utilized under conditions that are energized or in a passive mode which can lead to data that enhances the analysis of the potentially threat objects. The invention solves many associated current problems of ordinary metal detectors.
View Systems'' CEO, Gunther Than, said, "In this particular configuration the three dimensional space will be electromagnetically analyzed and potential threat object''s location(s) is(are) imprinted on a captured live video frame. The instant video and collected data may also be coupled with biometric identification methods including: facial, iris, fingerprint, government issued ID cards and employee identification methods. The complete system can then become a positive verification of an identified individual passing through the space (portal) and whether that individual possesses a potential threat."
The new enhanced system will keep all the best features of our current product and add enhanced differentiation of threat objects coupled with biometric verification. An important feature will be that the width of the portal passage way will be significantly wider than current detectors.
